Inspirations: The Hush Sound, Taking Back Sunday, Mayday Parade, Paramore, Sugarcult, The Postal Service, Secondhand Serenade, Dallas Green, AlexisonFire, Dashboard Confessional, Acceptance, The Used, Ok Go, Jason Mraz, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Jack’s Mannequin.
Fundamentally, my interest in music came about when I was within my junior years, participating in ‘kids on keyboards’. My talents had been triggered by the famous names such as Green Day, Backstreet Boys, and other bands that followed a much more pop sound. It was until now, that the fresh sound of punk/rock/emo had unveiled my true side of likes and dislikes.
Patrick and I are cousins, so that’s how we met each other. Both he and I were originally linked to another, former band which had not kicked off successfully. We grew up making music together, with him making up the compositions, and myself contributing with stunted-ideas and developing the lyrics. It was until early 2007 that I had met Julia and Pia through our schools participating in metropolitan sports, and that was where we had found out about each others’ musical calibres.
